Chef Shawn is a Platinum Sealed Executive Chef with an amazing 3 Zagat Awards to his credit.  Certified through the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Shawn has accumulated 50 years of culinary experience.  He has traveled the world, gathering different flavours and styles to apply to his food creations that create a unique and amazing delight to your taste buds.  His extensive portfolio includes many distinctive celebrities, dignitaries and infamous characters.  Chef Shawn has also been the recipient of many other awards, cooking competitions, and he even had a short stint of cooking shows on a local television cable show!

Chefs' from Away began when Chef Shawn partnered up with Chef Andrea 20 or so years ago.  Chef Andrea apprenticed extensively, training directly under Chef Shawn.   Chef Andrea left the financial industry, following her love of cooking and creating.  As the Administrator for the company, Andrea coordinates and runs the office plus helps out in the kitchen.  Her Ukrainian grandparents had a successful catering business in Toronto, where Chef Andrea spent many summers helping them out.   Together, as a team, the Chefs' create dishes that will WOW you.
